Quito: This is the second closes airport to Galapagos, several flights start here, many with a stopover in Guayaquil. Town in its self is very nice and you can easly to spend a day or two. Nearby is the market town of Otavalo also very interesting. Steppingstone to go to Miami and also start of our 4d. Amazonas tour. Also, good airport-hotels really close in a city with lots of traffic jams.
Transfer time to the city: Aprox. 40 min. to 1 hour.
