Floreana Tour Full day

We meet up at the hotel and walk to the harbor, from here we will get a 2-hour speedboat across the open sea to the mystique island of Floreana. After arriving, we will take a short break in the very little town of Puerto Velasco Ibarra. Approximately two-thirds of Floreana’s 100 residents live in the port town. Next on our schedule is to visit the Floreana Highlands. Here we will see and hear about the thrilling story of some of the first inhabitants of Floreana. We will pass one of the very few springs of freshwater in the Galapagos. We return to the village where lunch at a local restaurant is waiting for us. We will spend the rest of the afternoon on a small beach called La Loberia. Here we can snorkel, sunbath, swim or just rest in the sun. The snorkeling can sometime be fantastic with many of sea turtles feeding in the bay, we can also see rays, sealions and fishes. After a lovely afternoon we return to Puerto Ayora by speedboat (2 hours) to Puerto Ayora where we walk back to our hotel again.
