The ferry-boat that will take around 15 minutes over the canal. Here a new transportation waits for us to take us to the city of Puerto Ayora.

PM: 2 o ́clock we embark on a speedboat to continue with a 2-hour boat ride to Isabela. A short walk from the dock to the hotel. After check- in, the guide will walk us around the village so we can identify shops and places to eat. Dinner in the village and then relax and sleep at your hotel.

DAY 2 Giant Tortoise Breeding Center Snorkeling at Concha Perla

Today, we have two half-day tours planned to create an engaging full-day experience.

AM: From the hotel, we'll embark on a walk along the beach, following paths and bridges that lead us to the marshlands, known as La Poza de los Flamingos by the locals, keep an eye out for seabirds, including flamingos. You might also spot marine iguanas basking in the brackish waters. Eventually we will end at the "Centro de Crianza de Tortugas Gigantes," a research station dedicated to breeding the gentle giant tortoises.

PM: This adventure is about snorkeling, perfect for beginners. We walk to El Embarcadero, a scenic path that winds through the mangrove area. This tranquil route leads us to a shallow bay, Concha Perla, which s an ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling. You can expect to encounter schools of fish, playful sea lions, and the occasional Galapagos penguin.  After snorkeling at this remarkable place, we head back to the hotel and enjoy the evening at our own pace.

DAY 3. Boat Tour to Tintoreras

Today we’re in for a half-day tour, exploring one of Isabela’s marine highlights.

AM: Breakfast at the hotel. Walk to the harbor. Once at the harbor, we’ll embark on a smaller Puerto Villamil’s bay.

Tour de la Bahia

Our adventure begins with a coastal journey, during which we'll be on the lookout for Galapagos penguins, the only tropical penguins in the northern hemisphere. After this ride, we disembark into a seemingly desolate lava landscape, a step back in time to witness the early processes of how life originated on our planet.  Depending on the season, you may observe large male marine iguanas fighting as they display their vibrant colors to attract females, amidst the volcanic terrain.  To wrap up this tour, we'll immerse ourselves in the water for an extended snorkeling session, encountering a rich diversity of marine wildlife. Expect to cross paths with the ever-playful sea lions, sea turtles, and various species of rays. Tintoreras is unquestionably a highly regarded excursion, and it stands out as a true highlight of our journey.

DAY 4  Back to de mainland

AM: Early wakeup call to catch the ferry boat back to Santa Cruz. Our transportation will pick us up to take us to the pier.

The boat journey lasts approximately 2 hours, and it may be a bit bumpy. After a brief rest in Puerto Ayora, we'll go to the Baltra airport, timing depends on your flight schedules and specific programs.
