Bay Tour by boat (50$/pers.)// Half day
This relaxing 4-hour tour will take us to different places in the bay of Puerto Ayora. Our first stop will be 3 km out to sea stopping to see “La Loberia” where we can find a friendly group of sealions. We then slowly return to the shores of Santa Cruz and embark to make a small hike to Playa los Perros here we can see Marine Iguanas. Back in the boat we continue to in the bay for a stop to another shore we, again can make a small hike, now the open caves of “Las Grietas”. Here we will see finches, shorebirds and endemic vegetation. At Las Grietas we have a chance to snorkel in the channels and lava formation, the water here is also less salty, a very different experience. After a fantastic experience we slowly walk back to the boat to get back to Puerto Ayora.

13:30. Tour starts from Parque San Fransisco
14:00. Embark our vessel
14:20. Pass by La Loberia to explore the local sea lion colony
14:40. Back to the island of Santa Cruz
15:00. Disembark for a hike to Playa Los Perros
15:30. Back in the boat to go for some snorkling
16:00. Disembark for a hike to Las grietas
17:00. Back to Puerto Ayora again.
